This Antique piece is a nice antique item for a fireside collectable – This brass toasting fork made of brass is used for toasting marshmallow / muffin over a open fireplace. Toasting fork features the ‘HMS The Royal George Warship’ on the handle. Age between 1900-1940 It measures 47cm long, it has a twist effect shaft, a three tined fork with raised tips, and the handle is marked ‘VICTORY’. The ship was launched in 1756, and at the time it was the largest warship in the world. With its three decks, and one hundred guns. this characterful toasting fork would make a nice decorative item when set beside an inglenook / large fireplace or similar situation. A very rare collector piece.
